Later this month, we are embarking on a 6-day mini-adventure to Campbell River BC. For those of you who don’t know, Campbell River is on the east coast of Central Vancouver Island. While we live on South Vancouver Island (in Victoria), ironically, we have never made the 3-hour drive north to Campbell River. Which, of course, we are now going to correct. This trip is still in the planning stages, but a couple of highlights we are looking forward to are grizzly-bear spotting in the traditional territory of the Homalco First Nation in Bute Inlet, and snorkeling with salmon in the Campbell River!!
