Pacific Northwest Olympic Peninsula … here we come!

Tomorrow we start off on our 11-day road trip to Washington starting in Victoria BC and ending in Victoria BC. But along the way, the plan is to visit Port Angeles, Neah Bay, Cape Flattery (as far west as you can go in Washington state), Forks (home of the Twilight books), La Push, Hoh Rainforest Visitor Centre, Lake Crescent, Solduc Falls and Hot Springs, Hurricane Ridge Visitor Centre, Sequim (home of the Lavender festival), Port Townsend, Port Gamble, Poulsbo, Bainbridge Island, Seattle, and Clinton, Langley, Coupeville, Oak Harbor, on Whidbey Island, Deception Pass State Park, and Anacortes on Fidalgo Island. Wow, now that I wrote that out, it’s a lot! We’ve mapped out a plan, let’s see what happens!

Our original plan was to return to Victoria via the Anacortes-Sidney ferry, but unfortunately that’s still not running post-Covid due to continued staffing shortages. So we’ll have to return the same way we started — on the Coho ferry between Victoria and Port Angeles.

Tomorrow’s going to be an early morning. We have a reservation on the 10:30 AM Coho ferry, but we have to be at the terminal to clear customs no later than 9 AM. And we still have to load up the car!!
